His love of people and his desire to be a business owner spurred him to start Ameristar Mortgage more than 20 years ago. Today, more than 50 employees at multiple locations server customers deserving STAR services. Dan truly works for you, his customers – not the banks, not the realtors, not the appraisers, stating: "I promise to put all of my energy and experience to work at obtaining the best possible loan for you." Dan graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Stout. In his free time you will find him traveling to golf. Football season is spent cheering for the Packers. Dan loves his grandchildren and one can hardly get through a meeting without him saying something positive about his two adult children.

Dianne and her husband Dan have owned this company for more than 20 years. It has grown from a mom and pop mortgage broker to a mortgage banker with almost 50 employees all working to get you the best loan for your situation. "I love helping people achieve the American Dream of home ownership. I have a special place in my heart for first-time home buyers," says Dianne. She goes on to say, " If you want to shop other lenders, I hope we are the last one. We will be honest with you. We will counsel you beyond your mortgage needs. We will share our more than 20 years of experience as they apply to your situation. Just know that listing agents and sellers agents are all on the seller's side – not your side. Here at Ameristar, we represent the you and only you – the buyer." In addition to giving her customers STAR service, Dianne has raised two grown sons who also work in the financial services industry and she enjoys her grandchildren immensely. Dianne graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Stout and enjoys watching Packer and Badger games. You can always talk to her about her love of the television series ER, or you might find her listening to Kenny Rogers. Dianne makes the beautiful gift baskets her customers receive. She loves arts and crafts, reading and golfing.

Peter is always watching the financial markets to see where rates and trends will go. You can often find him staying late to finish work on one of your loans. Peter enjoys keeping customers informed of where they are in the loan process. Peter prides himself in keeping his customers information confidential and taking this work very seriously as, "we are often working with people's greatest investment – their home." In his spare time you can find Peter playing softball, or rooting for the Bucks or Brewers with his wife.

Lynne is also a fan of meeting and getting to know you. She wants you to know, "no questions are stupid. If you don't understand keep asking the question until you do." Lynne brings extensive financial experience and has been with Ameristar for more than 10 years and worked for a bank prior to that. Lynne spends her time after work with her two daughters enjoying Wisconsin.

Erica thinks it is exciting to help people realize their dream of owning a home. Erica is another of Ameristar's long-term employees as she has been there more than 21 years. She promises, "to do everything we can to close your loan in a timely manner." She also encourages you to "just keep asking questions until you understand the entire process. We are here to help you feel comfortable."When Erica isn't closing, she is reading, watching movies and spending time with her family. She is a fan of all the Wisconsin teams and like her children, is a huge football fan.

Jackie has worked for Ameristar almost the entire history of the business. She has seen customers from all walks of life come in to make better financial arrangements for what is often their biggest investment – their home. Ask Jackie about her job and she will tell you: "What I like best about my job, is building relationships with customers over the years. We know each other on a first name basis. That's important to have that kind of familiarity when dealing with something so important." Jackie loves spending time with her husband, family and friends – especially when they are watching football. "I like to tell customers to not worry about sharing all their personal information with us, even though it feels awkward. I remind them that they are in real good hands – BECAUSE THEY ARE!"
